Creating The World You Want to DANCE In - Rusty Frank

Rusty Frank is a Tap Dancer, Lindy Hopper, producer, choreographer, writer, and dance preservationist.

She is the author of the critically acclaimed book TAP! The Greatest Tap Dance Stars and Their Stories 1900-1955.

Rusty manages "Lindy By The Sea", a dance school for group and private classes. She also hosts Rusty's "Rhythm Club", a weekly swing dance in Playa Del Rey, California. This is one of the few clubs in the nation featuring an evening of dance to live bands.

As a result of her on-going dance preservation work, Rusty Frank is the recipient of many awards and in 2008, was inducted into "The California Swing Dance Hall of Fame."

Rusty has performed throughout the world and moved to the United Kingdom for two years to study Lindy Hop, also known as Jitterbug or Swing.
