Studio G: Discussions for Women in Leadership: How the Omega Practices the WOWSE Concept

The acronym WOWSE became a vital affirmation for me when I was starting my company, explains Laurie Beth. Like too many others, I had tried to get assistance from banks and was continually turned down. Every time I was rejected, I would say to myself "WOWSE." Join Laurie this week to learn how more about how an Omega Leader embraces this concept and the meaning of this term. Studio G in partnership with Laurie Beth Jones and her leadership resources have come together to create a place for women to meet online. • Original Air Date:

Laurie Beth and National Team Specialist Shannell McMillian

Laurie Beth launched a nationwide effort to impact teens back in 2000. Since that time she has not looked back. She believes that every teen should know their mission and vision before leaving high school. If teens have this information as part of their personal education, she feels that there would be less students graduating and then coming back home to rest on their parents sofa. Not to mention the thousands of dollars lost on this learning curve. The Path4Teens and Path4Kids continues to be a strong force in education, clubs, YMCA's and youth groups. Shannell McMillian will be Laurie's guest this week to share her passion for the Path4Teens and how her work is impacting the Los Angeles area schools and community. Shannell is a National Path4Teens Trainer who is passionate about purpose. Join the show on Monday to hear both Laurie Beth and Shannell share about how this program has changed the lives of many teens and continues to be a great bridge for guiding teens into their personal calling.

Studio G: Discussions for Women in Leadership: How the Omega Summarizes the Message

Advertisers are paid to pare things down to their essence. Take the Nike advertising campaign, for example. All of Nike's factories, sales representatives, products, energies, costs, profits, and purpose were boiled down by their ad agency into three words: Just do it. How do you optimize your message? Studio G in partnership with Laurie Beth Jones and her leadership resources have come together to create a place for women to meet online. Using Jones' "Ancient Wisdom for Visionary Leadership" series we will bring fresh topics and insight each week. Come and learn, share and grow as a women leader as Laurie Beth shares on leadership. How do we intentionally live our mission, our purpose, each day? And what happens when we enter a time of transition, whether by choice or due to circumstances out of our control? Does our mission take a sabbatical while our life takes a different direction? Join Laurie Beth and Gaye as they bring their experience and insight into the 'living your mission' process.

Studio G: Discussions for Women in Leadership: The Omega Leader is Bold

Jesus did not mumble or whisper his message. He did not discuss for hours the safest approach for doing something. He did not go through countless committees to get permission to make a statement. He was bold.
