Kudos to the Founder of LACO...Crystal. For bringing LACO Community to anyone who has been effected by Cancer's touch. I lost my Mother due to Leukemia, and my Only Son is recovering from Thyroid Cancer. When I found LACO. I was still deeply grieving about the loss of my Mother. I have met some wonderful people through LACO. I am involved with the support community in several different ways. Crystal has a wonderful vision, spreading seeds of hope to all who need it. Myself, I plan on being a part of LACO for life. Because I believe in their cause. ~Amber...Owner of MedTrakker.com

I have been touched by cancer too. In fact, it was a large part of my decision to host a show on BTR - so that I could laugh with my sister who was fighting cancer even though we don't live in the same city. I believe in the power of laughter to help us heal and I am thankful for BTR so that we can create a community of survivors, supporters and LAUGHERS! I look forward to getting to know you and I wish you every success. ~Laughing Lady

The Laugh at Cancer Organization Inc. is a non-profit organization that is helping families touched by cancer...directly or indirectly! Our mission is to help all families facing cancer's touch and restore hope in families that have been devastated by this disease. The founder Crystal Kauffman and her talented staff have built several types of online support communities or networks for families in need of support and friendship.

    These Support Communities/Networks are

    1.      LACSC (Our Main Support Community)

    2.      Youth support

    3.      Pet Support

    4.      Honor Wall of Grace

    5.      Laugh at Cancer Organization (Registered LACO Members Only) ((Private))

    6.      Laugh at Cancer Wings (Registered LACO Members Only) ((Private))

These popular support communities are free to all ages and families touched by cancer. In addition, each community remains open 24/7.  They each function much like a social networking platform. LACO has many projects that are offering support to families in need. LACO is working hard to plants seed of hope in each person we meet. Come by and see how our community is working together to achieve the impossible.

LACO’s Global Chain of Hope project is aimed at all organizations, which are helping families touched by cancer. The founder humbly invites your organization to become a link in our global chain of resources for families to rely on as needed. With permission, LACO will add your link to the website for life of my organization. Together, we can achieve the impossible!

Check out our Wings of Hope Project, which offers a monthly greeting card program and prayer request program for our beloved members. Additionally, our Day of Hope project allows LACO to pass out smiles to local patients. We hope to continue this project every month, but this project and all others solely depend on  Please consider donating to this project or joining us, so we can keep it going strong and bless families with hope they can count on. We need small gifts and throw blankets for children and adults, plus you may donate a gift of love.

Furthermore, LACO is not government funded, so we depend on our members and

visitors to continue growing. All proceeds are put back in into the organization, so we can continue growing. Many volunteer opportunities are available, now in every online and offline community. Thanks to one of our dedicated members, LACO has a new chapter in Jackson Ohio! If you are interested in opening a chapter in your city, please contact me for assistance.

    LACSC Day of Hope

What is LACSC Day of Hope?

The initials LACSC stands for the organization, which I founded called the Laugh at Cancer Support Community. Oct. 28th, I celebrated the first ever LACSC Day of Hope and enjoyed making the patients smile. Now, the 28th of every month, I will be visiting local cancer centers to give out small gifts to cancer patients unless it falls on a weekend. Each month, I will pick a different clinic to visit in the Jacksonville, Florida area. These small gifts will give each patient hope and encourage them to continue their fight.

    How can I help?

There are several ways to celebrate LACSC Day of Hope. I am collecting donations like fleece throw blankets, small figurines (dollar store), and money (Paypal) to keep the project alive. By donating, you will help put smiles on the faces of those patients, who are battling cancer every month. In addition, you may also celebrate in your own community by gathering up same types of donations and giving them out locally to cancer centers in your area.

    Let's Restore Hope Together!

Either way, you choose to help, will help restore hope to patients fighting cancer daily. Additionally, you will meet new friends and enjoying the time you spend with them. So, please join me and the LACSC community in celebrating life and bring hope to those in need. Therefore, let's make LACSC Day of Hope a success by making a difference together on the 28th day of the month.

    Respectfully yours,
    Crystal K.
