Mike Rae Anderson, born February 04, 1972 in Stutgartt, Germany, was raised in Fayetteville, NC by his father William James Anderson and his mother Hanna Anderson.
With a background in radio (Former Co-Host of Shairis Poetic Radio Show for 88.7fm WXDU), drama and theater, and motivational speaking to at-risk youth, Mr. Anderson currently serves as the poet-in-residence for Chuck Davis’s African American Dance Ensemble. He is also the author of 2 independently published poetry books entitled “The Lost Disciple: God’s Revelation to a Street Poet” and “Serenity in the Dark” (Lulu.com). [Can be purchased on the WORKS page.] Mike will be tentatively releasing his third book in the summer of 2013 entitled "Love's Last Chance" which explores his talents in the areas of novel writing. His Life Story entitled "The Book of Malachi" will be released in the spring of 2013.
With 11 more books already written, Mr. Anderson plans to get the entirety of his collection published while breaking into film and playwriting. Mr. Anderson accredits his gifts of literary works and accomplishments to the God in him as Christ reigns in his life. He operates in his gift on a daily basis whether in his home, at his job, or in the community.
