 Latenight with Cornell will feature writer/director Lisanne Sartorwith her drama “Six Letter Word” SCRIPT DEVELOPMENT AWARDS Live Pitch: $2500 cash prize! BEST SCREENPLAY winner as well. Lisanne Sartor is an award-winning writer/director whose short film "Six Letter Word" has screened at over fifty film festivals worldwide, including the Telluride Film Festival and the American Pavilion at Cannes (www.sixletterword.org). She made "Six Letter Word" via the AFI Directing Workshop for Women. Her feature script of "Six Letter Word" made it to the second round of the Sundance Screenwriters lab twice. Because of that script, she was also a finalist in the 2015 Hedgebrook Screenwriting Lab and received a Hedgebrook residency for 2016. She will direct the feature, "Six Letter Word" in 2017 with Tani Cohen producing. Her most recent short is "Prick" and she will shoot her short "Heimlich," based on the short story by M.C. Moore, in spring of 2016.
