    I SURVIVED SHOW NUMBER 1! of Dear Lanadee HELP! The next show is Saturday, August 23rd at 6:30 p

    It is 12:26 am on Saturday morning and I finished the very first show!
    It is amazing how frightening the "show countdown" can be.  But once I began the show, the fear went away.  I had one phone in guest, my daughter Julie.  (She had to call, after all, I have been there for HER many times :-)  And I am sure she didn't want to hear my sad, whiny voice, later.
    The show went so fast that I didn't get a chance to share ANY of the story I call "MY LIFE".  So I will start next week with that.  I am moving the show up to 6:30 pm on Saturday evening.  I am not a night person.  It took two cups of coffee to be able to keep from yawning, ha

    So here I am! My name is lanadee. And I am here to help YOU!

    Hi, 
    My story that I call "MY LIFE" is about growing up with parents who battled drug addiction and mental illness.  I have found that through faith in God and a sense of humor, you can survive anything!   I share my story with you so that you know that you are NOT alone enduring the "struggles" of every day life.

    I  believe the best reason for doing a show is because you either have something you just have to say or because you think you can make a difference.  I would have to say both apply, in my case.    I hope that you will join me.  Share your day to day struggles with me.  And together..we can "enjoy the journey of life"!

    I  am 57 years old.  I live in Elkhart IN.  I have been married nearly 35 years to a wonderful man named Michael.  We have one daughter who is married to a minister and FOUR great grandbabies.  They currently live in Hannibal, MO.  I also have a handsome son who also lives in MO. 

    Oh about the picture of me and  my microphone.  Yes, believe it or not, I am a little shy :-)       But NOT when I have you to talk to!

    Dear lanadee is for you...about you...and I CAN'T do it without you!
