Because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. - Romans 8:14..:

The greatest sign that you and I are maturing in our walk with God is when we can discern the difference between "good things" and "God-things." When the people of Israel journeyed out of Egypt through the desert, the cloud led them by day. They could move only as fast as the cloud. If they went ahead, they went without God's presence. If they lagged behind, they also lost God's presence.

Each of us must have the discernment to know when God is leading in a matter, or if it is simply a good idea. There are so many things in which you and I can be involved, and the more successful you become, the greater the temptations to enter into things where God has not called you. Entrepreneurs are especially prone to see all the opportunities. And those who are anointed tend to fall prey to this because he move out of God's timing and sometimes even out of He's will for our live altogether.

I can remember when I first started out in management. I not only thought it was a good idea but the fact that there were those who believed in me and said God said you are the one, I jumped on it. Well about a year into the word of God kept coming back to me that the blessings of the Lord maketh rich and addeth no sorrow, and man I was miserable. After some time I went to God. And I was like I know this is apart of my ministry and I have been educated to do this kind of work and I'm not working with secular artist so what's the deal? He simply said "It's not time yet". So I had to walk away, gain the wisdom and understanding he wanted me to get, and now I understand more clearly why the wait.

As sons of God, we are called to be led by the Spirit. This requires a level of dependence on God in which many of us really do not want to invest. It requires listening, waiting, and moving only when God's Spirit tells us to move. Did I say waiting already? This is the hardest part. Workplace believers are "action" people. We know how to get things done, but our greatest strength can be our greatest weakness. How do you move from being an independent critical thinking to depending on God for everything? He word says in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct our path. Everything that is good is not always good for us. And it can turn out to be trap that puts us in situations that God did not intend for us to be in. then we what to cry to Him asking why Lord, when you didn't sit still long enough to hear the complete answer with instructions from Him.

Today, ask God to make you a Romans 8:14 man or woman who is led by the Spirit of God. Pray against lagging behind or moving ahead of time. Ask God to reveal whether the next project you consider is a "good thing" or a "God-thing." And if it is a God thing, ask for wisdom on how not to move ahead of he's plan!

Be still and know that I am God.... - Psalm 46:10

There is a time and place in our walk with God in which He sets us in a place of waiting. It is a place in which all past experiences are of no value. It is a time of such stillness that it can disturb the most faithful if we do not understand that He is the one who has brought us to this place for only a season. It is as if God has placed a wall around us. No new opportunities--simply inactivity. Don't be discouraged for those who are here. What appears to be confusion and chaos in and around your life is merely completion and creation happening at the same time.

During these times, God is calling us aside to up root some old things in us and fashion something new in us. It is an isolation chamber designed to call us to deeper roots of prayer and faith. It is not a comfortable place, especially for a focused believer. Our nature cries out, "You must do something," while God is saying, "Be still and know that I am God." Or the worst thing in this place is to assume that it is the enemy and we begin to rebuke and pray down strong holds and are not wise enough to see that when those prayers are not answered God is not mad at us. You know the signs that you have been brought into this chamber when He has removed many people and things from your life and you can't seem to change anything. Perhaps you are unemployed. Perhaps you are laid up with an illness. You may have even experienced a lot of death esp. people who have been a rock in your life.

Most religious people live a very planned and orchestrated life where they know almost everything that will happen. But for people in whom God is performing a deeper work those in relationship with Him, He brings them into a time of quietness that seems almost eerie. They cannot say what God is doing. They have no revelation to what he is doing. No one is speaking to them and they can't hear anything but a pin drop in the spirit. All they know is that He is doing a work that cannot be explained to themselves or to others.

Has God brought you to a place of being still? Be still and know that He really is God. When this happens, the chamber will open soon after. When you find yourself in a place of peace in the chamber, realizing God has you right where he wants you to be. That there is nothing broken and nothing missing and that God is the one who has you here, when you come forth, God's glory will be revealed for all flesh to see it.

I bless God because I'm in the chamber right now and it's a good thing because he is preparing me for greatness and truthfully everyone that was around can't go to the next level with me. There were some things that needed to be dealt with in me in order to mature. New revelation and wisdom had to come for me to be the woman of God he is calling for in this hour! And not matter what or who I had to let go of, in the words of Bishop Trotter, "WHAT'S TO COME, IS BETTER THAN WHAT'S BEEN!!!
