Synopsis for ICE STATION ZOMBIE by James Gurley
In the frozen desolation of the Antarctic, a military experiment to regenerate damaged nerve tissue goes horribly wrong. The result is the Hades Plague that sweeps the earth, creating hordes of zombies. The sub zero temperatures render the virus inactive in Antarctica, but the weather is warming and in Australia, the winter has been unseasonably warm...
James was born in Corinth, Mississippi February 19, 1954, a city steeped in Civil War history, from the Battle of Shiloh a few miles away, to the Battle of Corinth at Fort Robinette, part of which is in his parents' back yard. His love for history developed at an early age and has stayed with him, using historical events as ideas for his stories, often disguised by his imagination.
James is a prolific author of several dozen short stories of horror and history, and about a dozen completed books just since 2004. We will be talking to him about how he works on so many stories at a time and where he gets his inspirations.
It's good to talk.
