    Not Rain, Sleet or TORNADO...

    Ok, I blogged this earlier but due to technical difficulties (the running theme of the day) I lost that blog...it may have been picked up by a tornado and will drop down later...or not.

    Today Chap and I had a show at the regularly scheduled time of 10am-12pm (EDT). Unfortunately, Chap had storm warnings in his area and we didnt go on as hoped. I didnt feel like trying to run the show solo (Ebony Eyes was MIA due to errands) so we held the chat room down with Wizz and Dancing Dani...for TWO WHOLE HOURS! Finally, Chap managed to get another show scheduled for 12-2pm (EDT) and we went on. We did run into more technical difficulties, where we lost the show for a few minutes...because the storm decided to pick on our Chap and knock out his power. AND, the Kween's phone decided to NOT bow down in reverance and show ITS ass at the moment...which lead to a complete blackout. I finally called back in, just in time for Ebony Eyes to show up (she's my lifesaver...not to be confused with lightsaber) LOL. Chap signed onto the show shortly thereafter and we commenced to the bizness of SHOWTIME!

    We played a few rounds of "Don't say Umm" and "Gimme 5". Wizz got quizzed on "The Color Purple" with some help from a cheating chat room denizen. (Whaaaat?)
    I failed the E.T. quiz (BOOOOO) and we debuted our 1st "Pump it, or Bump it" segment where BigSpook an independent rapper debuted his song, "Dang Girl"...which prompted Chap to feed us a little "Pound Cake" which the gang feasted on! (there was booty shaking and hip twisting in the chat room, SON!)

    In spite of our difficulties, I believe we had a great show. We had callers (Wizz, Dani and ICNotes), Chap's Aunt Cat came in and curled up on our chat room couch...we had games, music and laughter. Although we didnt have a "smooth" show...we had a fun-filled show. Who can say that their listeners stick around when the show is dead? That will CHAT without a show streaming for 2 hours just to be in the mix? WE CAN SAY THAT! And, to me...that is a perfect show. A show that has mix-ups but still manages to satisfy the audience's craving for our flavor.
