Guests This Week Include Tommy Talton and Freddie Vanderford

This week we are happy to feature a conversation with and music by Tommy Talton. Many will remember Tommy as a founding member of the seventies Capricorn Records group Cowboy, who recorded many fine albums and also toured with and backed up Gregg Allman in the mid-70's. Tommy has released a couple of fine new recordings over the past few years, and was a special guest during the historic 40th anniversary Allman Brothers Band run at New York's Beacon Theatre in 2009. Also on tap is Piedmont blues musician Freddie Vanderford, an award winning harp player and singer from South Carolina whose new CD Greasy Greens is a true celebration of classic Carolina style blues music.
