With our aging population the number of caregivers is increasing. Maxine and I know; w have both been caregivers. Maxine cared for her dying husband; I cared for both of my husband's parents in my home for three years and then did the same for my mother. I still oversee my mother's care in an assisted living situation. That's why we completely understand the desperation and exhaustion that often accompanies the role of caregiver and are looking forward to this interview with author Peter Rosenberger who hosts a weekly radio program for caregivers. He has has also has "been there" and learned to offer the rest of us real help. And hope. We sure need hope. I am especially eager to hear what he has to say about the stress-inducing topics of finances, planning and decision-making. If you are a caregiver, take a much-needed break and listen to this show.
