    Vibrant After Fifty - Why Have a Growth Mindset?


    Your mindset is what you believe about yourself.  Do you believe that people have the potential to grow their intellect, personality, and talents throughout life or do you believe these characteristics are fixed? It is a crucial difference. 

    A growth mindset gives us the chance to keep growing throughout our life. I love the following quote by Walt Disney: "All our dreams can come true - if we have the courage to pursue them." He understood that by applying ourselves we discover inner resources and develop character strength that we did not even know we had.

    With a growth mindset we will stay active and vibrant as we age.  We can  not do it any other way.;
