What Kind of Mindset do You Have?

This show focused on the value of developing a growth leadership mindset in order to live vibrantly after fifty. According to Carol Dweck, author of the book Mindset: The New Psychology of Success, there are two kinds of mindsets: fixed and growth. People with a fixed mindset believe that their basic qualities like intelligence and talents are fixed traits and just having them leads to success.  The growth mindset people believe that their basic abilities can be developed through hard work.

In order to live vibrantly we need a growth leadership mindset. Yet emotionally many people find themselves stuck with a fixed mindset rationalizing that this is how theyhave always been. In this show I talked about the importance of upgrading parts of ourseves which look like they are fixed in order to develop a growth leadership mindset.
