What is faith? According to the Greek of the New Testament book of Hebrews, faith is rendered as:

"the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not being seen."

How does the individual seeking to know more about their Creator associate this concept with how they are to live their life? More importantly, how does this concept look in practice? Well, if you want to know something about anything, then you must dig deep enough and look close enough and you may be surprised at what you turn up. The book of James says:

"faith apart from works is dead."

Therefore, it becomes necessary for the one seeking to know about faith to reconcile these two aspects of what faith is considered in the Scriptures before he/she will be able to understand what exactly faith is according to the Word of truth. Join me as we examine what the Scriptures say regarding this important aspect of life known as faith.
