    Show After thoughts show air date 6/26/09

    Hello my friends!  It is that time where we explore some of the after thoughts for the most recent show (6/26/09).  This week we had a guest on the show, Master Thompson from the Order of Ashla Knights www.ashlaknights.net joined us and gave us an insight to what has happened and what is happening with the Ashla community.  Derek Thompson was a very fun guest to have on, witty and smart.  I know that I am not the only one looking forward to the return of Ashla Knights, and I was very happy to hear what was happening.
     
    We talked about our weeks Honorable mentions.  It is always refreshing to me to know that there are ordinary people out there in the world, doing extra-ordinary things!  It just goes to show that when you are shown a different perspective, or you share an outlook on life and world that allows you to give yourself selflessly, you can make a huge difference to those around you.

    One thing we did try this week was to add some quick breaks into the mix using music as a filler to give folks a chance to get a snack, drink, use the restroom, etc... I liked how this worked out, and going forward we will continue to use this as the norm.

    The second hour was unscripted and open.  We did take much of your feedback and applied it this week to the show.  We posted possible topics on the main site www.knightsofawakening.com .  We talked about Psychics first, just to point out once again, we DO NOT have anything against Psychics, and we DO NOT have anything against those who visit Psychics.  I have personal friends that are Psychics, I have personal friends who visit Psychics.  All we are saying is that many of the questions we here are far from being questions that one would need a Psychic for, many of the questions I hear seem more for a Counselor or something similar.  We are about empowering people, to learn how to answer these kinds of questions themselves, showing them how to find their own inner wisdom.  Too often I find that many people are just trying to pacify rather than satisfy.

    We talked a lot about charlatans and simple ways to avoid being taken by one.  We talked about the "godmen" and those who are empowering people to guard themselves against them and other Charlatans.  The biggest take away from this weeks show for me was moving beyond and past our beliefs and the structures that hold us to them.  Master Thompson took us through the progression that started from being Jedi and moving forward and onto what lies beyond that.  One thing to point out again, we came from the Jedi Way, we live our lives based on the Jedi way, much of our values and beliefs are of the Jedi way.  But as it was pointed out, it is time to move beyond that, seeking and finding a deeper understanding.

    I had more fun this week than I have had in all of our shows thus far.  I hope all of you had a good time as well, and hope that you took something away from this weeks show.  Take care of yourselves, and as always if you need anything, please feel free to look us up!  Until next week............

    Justin's Afterthoughts show date 6/19/2009

    Hello everyone!  It's that time again, where I share with you my after thoughts for our last show.  Well, we are two shows into it now and I couldn't be more excited!  It has been a very broad learning experience for both Myself and David.  The support we have received has been tremendous, both in the praise that we are getting from many of you, but also just as important is the gripes and critics.  Without both, we cannot continue to fine tune our craft and give you the best of our selves.

    It has been a very rewarding challenge for us here at Knights of Awakening, trying to share and convey our thoughts and insights with all of you out there.  There are always times where I will say to myself, "Man! I wish I would have said that instead".  But in the moment is where all the action is, in the moment is where we must make our stand and state our case because after that moment is gone, it is gone forever. 

    So we tried a new format (I know, I know we have just started!), but change is never a bad thing, it only shows that forward is our only direction.  David and I both liked and enjoyed leaving the second hour of the show for all of you out there.  We both liked how we could be more free with our thoughts, and have all the time in the world for our friends and listeners.  There was a bit of dead space here and there, and we are working to remedy that in the future.  We talked about some great stuff; Balance, Moving and changing with the flow, some really great movies (which I thought could make a great show all by itself....hint, hint).  We are still finalizing our plans for the mid week news and current events shows, so please stay tuned for that!

    One other thing I wanted to mention, thanks again to all of you who come and listen to our show Live, and for those of you who catch our show in the replay, without you we would have no one to work for!  We encourage all of you who do listen live, to please do not be shy or afraid to call in, we would love to have you because everyone of you have something profound and important to share that can help make all of our lives easier!  Until next week....

    Justin's after thoughts 6/13/2009

    Hello my friends!

    Each week, after our Friday show we will take the opportunity to share any after thoughts we may have with all of you.  Only so much can be said in the moment, and 2 hours sometimes just isn't enough...LOL.

    So our first show is behind us now, and I have to tell you I had a great time!  It was fun spending time with all of you who joined us live in the chat and the few that called in.  I want to thank all of you who listened to us last night, and also those of you who caught the replay, thanks again!  We are always moving in a forward direction, so we can only get better as time goes on, but I understand that only with your help can we continue to move forward in a positive direction, thanks again!

    David and I have decided to do two different shows a week, one mid-week show, and one main show on Friday nights.  The mid-week show will more than likely focus on current events, news items, strange stories, and feel good stuff.  The mid-week show will be pre-recorded and will include Video.  You will be able to find the mid-week show on our Youtube page, stay tuned for info on this one.  Our main show will continue to be aired on Friday nights (live), and will include several segments along the way;
