Join Barbara and guest Christopher Marston as they discuss how to build companies that endure and demonstrate economic, environmental, social, and cultural sustainability.

Christopher Marston is the founder and CEO of Exemplar Companies, Inc. With headquarters in Boston, Exemplar Companies is an innovative primary-care professional services organization that combines the disciplines of business law, business consulting, and investment banking to grow middle-market companies. Exemplar Law, the first of the three business units, was the first corporate law firm in the nation to abandon hourly billing in favor of a fixed, value-based pricing model, which has won recognition from the American Bar Association for innovation. Since founding the firm in 2004, Exemplar has grown to over 35 professionals in 5 offices and has expanded into a family of companies.

In addition to practicing law, Mr. Marston also serves as a Fellow in the VeraSage Institute, an economics think-tank dedicated to changing the economic model of the professions.

On weekends, Mr. Marston teaches children at the Milton Academy and is an avid songwriter.
