  The first guest was Shane Hefner who is the CEO of the Black Business
  Directory. Shane talked about why he started the Black Business Directory, trying to provide a professional looking product to focus on black businesses.
  
  

  Jearline Miller of the Alpha Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority was joined by Keesha Williams of the Omicron Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority to talk about their Economic Smart Fair, “Elevating Success for Prosperity, Creating your own Economic Stimulus Package” Saturday, September 26 from 8:30am-3:00p.m. at Richland College in the Fannin Building. There is no charge.
  
  

  Also on October 22, there will be the Women and Money Networking and Panel Discussion at South Dallas Cultural Center at 6p.m. sponsored by Omicron Mu Omega.

  Folks in the live audience included Araceli Arreola Kimberlin, who was in the DFW/ABJ Urban Journalism Workshop for 4 years, Robyn Solomon of the AKAs and businessman Oscar Warren. DeMetris Sampson was also in the house. I told the AKAs that they needed to honor her at their next Boule, for donating $50,000 to Paul Quinn College.
