In anticipation of the high school basketball season, we introduce our first installment of Classic Raiders, a look back at some of the greatest games in North Brunswick Township High School history that have been broadcast on the King James Radio Network.

We start things off with a flashback to February 21, 2012. It was on this night that the fourth seed North Brunswick Lady Raiders would meet the #1 seed Bishop Ahr Trojans in the Greater Middlesex Conference Girls Basketball Tournament semifinals.

These teams split their two regular season meetings, and would come to South Brunswick to settle it, once and for all.

There were three future Division 1 college basketball players on the floor in this game, featuring Jasmine Walker(Monmouth) and Taryana Kelly(Maryland-Eastern Shore) for North Brunswick, while Liz Sharlow(Lehigh) was the focal point for Bishop Ahr.

North Brunswick also had a 1,000 point scorer in senior guard Durva Bhandare, along with junior guards Stephanie Guevara and Brittany Vick.

Be sure to check out the boys basketball edition of Classic Raiders, right after this one with the girls.

We hope that you enjoy Classic Raiders on the King James Radio Network.
