What is Peace?

Greek: Eiro..implies severance or unite

Hebrew: Shilom…friendliness, complete, security, rest

English: to agree; agreement

Union, agreement, friendship

Who needs Peace?

Wicked – never have peace - Isaiah 48:22….“There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.”

Romans 3:17…. and the way of peace they do not know.”

Worshippers – Numbers 6:26…. the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’

Numbers 25:12… Therefore tell him I am making my covenant of peace with him.

Psalm 4:8…In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.

Weak – must be strengthen before they can have peace

Psalm 29:11….The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.

Romans 5:1…5 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
