Call for Righteous Leadership

Among the Israelites, a king was responsible to lead people in obedience to God's Law just as much as a priest was. The king might concentrate more on practical daily life and the priest on religious ceremony and teaching, but they both were to lead God's people in  holy living.

God's Word makes it clear that godly leaders should live their lives based on the responsiblity to be a godly influence in the lives of others. Believers are to require integrity in leaders and follow their righteous example.
