A dish I created years ago which I call saffron rice with spicy shrimp, the spices and saffron gives it a unique taste and the peppers make it hot and spicy while the yogurt cools it down (This recipe can be adjusted with fewer peppers if it’s too spicy).

Ingredients you will need:
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 pounds of shrimp (peeled)
  • 2 yellow saffron long grain rice 10 oz bags
  • 7 cups water
  • 16 oz frozen green peas
  • 5 green long hot peppers (chopped fine)
  • 2 red hot pepper (chopped fine)
  • 3 jalapeño peppers (chopped fine)
  • 1 green pepper (chopped fine)
  • 2 red peppers (chopped fine)
  • 1 yellow pepper (chopped fine)
  • 1 orange pepper (chopped fine)
  • 1 large sweet onion (chopped fine)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
