Donahvan Hollis, the author of the heart-restoring book False Shepherds Kill Sheep, The Forbidden Truth , Is a young man from Detroit MI. who has survived and triumphed over some of life s most difficult circumstances. Following a string of misfortunes, along with being falsely accused of a crime Donahvan was confined to a jail cell for seven dreary months until eventually the actual perpetrator was tried and convicted. But this misfortune would not be without purpose. During this time Donahvan became a student of the Bible and came to greatly admire the history of Jesus, eventually accepting the Christian faith at the age of 21. Following the guidelines of religious protocol, he prayed for and sought after a Pastor for leadership. Little did he know at that time the inner city where he lived was filling to the brim with false shepherds who were setting up temples on nearly every corner of every community. After joining one of the local establishments and diving head first into service the author would later come to realize that he hadn t been led there to experience good leadership but to witness a disturbing, life altering reality. For several years Donahvan unknowingly served under false shepherds, learning their tactics, their teachings and their mindsets. While traveling and fellowshipping in various churches within his city and around the east coast the author came to realize the commonality of spiritual abuse hearing the outcry of many victims, mentally trapped and enslaved by misleaders who use religion like chains to hold their sheep captive. Having experienced personally the emotional and financial devastation that can result from abusive spiritual leadership, and having taken notice of a river of tears poured out by their subjects, Donahvan had come to realize he was certainly not alone.
