Visit the Children’s/Teen Fitness page on Upside40.com to see my latest article discussing the long term effects of “nibbling” and “tasting”. Here is an exert:
I have learned over the years, where food is concerned a little goes a long way. Many people believe, “if I don’t eat the whole thing it won’t hurt me”. Unfortunately, the truth of the matter is that the unhealthy foods we eat every day add so many calories and the ratio of what is consumed verses the output of exercise does not match up and causes quick weight gain. A nibble here and a taster there is not considered in the grand scheme of things but can add up if you don’t watch it.
Once you have read the full article, tell me what you think at kim.nix@kims-kidsunderconstruction.com. Remember that by working together we can build a generation of healthy children.
