Dear Musical and Spoken Word Artists, Family, Friends, and Collegues of Let Your Soul Flow OPEN MIC Series, Thank you for your continued interest in this event. We appreciate those that have come to vibe with us, and be heard every Wednesday Night at Bohemian Caverns in Washington, DC. It is becoming quite a popular event, and we continue to gain momentum, week by week, and the movement is definately growing. We are always interested in up-and-coming artists from around the city, the country, and the world. As always, doors open @ 7pm, and the kitchen is open from 7pm until 11pm. The cost is now $10 for all patrons. You will receive a Drink Ticket (with the price of admission,) good for one free drink before 9pm. Performers are charged a $5 entry fee , and MUST sign the OPEN MIC Sign Up List. Artists, NOT featuring, can do a max of two (2) songs, but it is up to the host to delegate time, per the sign up list. All artists are responsible for bringing their own music on CD. There is "no" live band (yet) for the performers. Artists are responsible for bringing, set-up, and break-down of their own equipment.* *Featured Artists will have approximately 45 minutes for their feature set, and will ONLY receive a $30 comp tab at the bar; No cash compensation is given. So if you would like to 'Let Your Soul Flow' with us, or know of someone that would love to share their talent, please forward a website link, or recorded 'public' work, i.e., CD, Myspace Page, etc., that you may have available. You also may be able to sell your CD at this event, as well. But first, of course, we will listen to the work that you have submitted for our consideration, and reply to you within one week.
