Z ROCK is a comedy series featured on the Independent Film Channel that follows three friends leading a double life! By day, they are a kid’s party band called “The Z Brothers” and by night, they are a hard-partying rock band known as ZO2. Z ROCK, an internet based TV Show, loosely centers around the real lives and experiences of the band members of Z02 featuring brothers Paulie Z (lead singer/guitarist) and David Z (bassist/vocals) along with their long life friend, Joey Cassata (drummer). Episodes of Z ROCK provide the viewer with a backstage pass to the band's struggle to become rock royalty while coping with the realities of everyday life, such as accepting gigs they'd rather turn down, dealing with an emotional club owner and manager, surviving jail, handling groupies while most importantly, avoiding their angry husbands! The show featured cameos and guest appearances by comedic icon Joan Rivers, Radio Producer Gary Dell'Abate (Howard Stern Show), John Popper (Blues Traveler), Daryl Hall (Hall & Oates), Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction) and Mini Kiss as well as the staples of the music scene including: Crash Mansion, Webster Hall & Southpaw, to name a few. So what do we want to do? We want to Bring Back Z Rock! The show aired at a time when internet streaming of TV shows was not yet the norm. The only way to see Z ROCK at the time was to either have IFC or purchase it on iTunes. It is unfortunate that the show was canceled after 2 seasons. It is currently available on NetFlix and Amazon. With the 2-years that it has been off the air, the fans still want the show to make a comeback. We are using the power of the internet to call forth all Z Rock fans to make this happen! It's our belief that if we can expose Z Rock to the masses, the show will have its Second Life! To help support the show and bring it back, visit www.facebook.com/bringbackzrock
