In response to TCU's decision to enter the Big East, ESPN broadcaster Lou Holtz said he expects more changes within the BCS because he feels the administrators will "follow the money". What playoff money is available for the NCAA? Some have claimed a 16 team, home hosting model, is the only workable solution, but is that money available right now? And do the schools want to pull out of the BCS to enter a 16 team playoff world? The Kennedy Proposal (KP) ask the BCS Presidents to expand the two team, one game tournament. The Pac 10 was expanded, the MWC/WAC has changed, Big Ten expanded, Big East expanded. All of this is affecting regular season scheduling, the bowl structure, and the BCS. Expansion is occurring and the option to expand the BCS tourney is available. More money would be the result. The case, however, is not only that there is more money, but the money afforded by the KP is in addition to the current revenue generated by the current system. Jim Delany estimates about three to four times more money.
