This is the first part of a series of many Bible studies that will help you understand how to obey the commandments of God. God gives His Holy Spirit to those who obey Him (Acts 5:32; Proverbs 1:22-23). Therefore, it is important to know HOW to obey Him. I will cover a different commandment every week. There are several commandments in the Tanakh (Old Testament) & Apostolic Scriptures (New Testament). All the commandments show you HOW to love your neighbor as yourself. They also show you how to love yourself. If you don't know how to love yourself, then you can't love your neighbor. Ultimately, when you love yourself and your neighbor then you are loving God (1 John 4:19-21; Matthew 25:31-46).
