2018-19 Sons of the American Legion National Commander Dr. Greg "Doc" Gibbs on #SALRadio with Ken Kraetzer

The National CDR represents Hamburg Post #527 in western New York State. In this podcast Dr. Gibbs discusses his career in education, taking on increasing level of responsibility in the SAL, recounts his inauguration day in Minneapolis.on August 26th, some of the places he will visit including Pearl Harbor and Normandy, and a compelling story of generosity by a squadron in Texas.

Since 2011 SALRadio annually awards the Lt. Eugene Evans - Lt.Col. Eli Page Howard Leadership Award to honor of two 1949 National Championship college football players from Morgan State University, both commissioned US Army officers who died during military service.
