  Dive Show Radio for Liquid Lounge
  

   Saturday, September 27, 2008: Today's show will focus on upcoming dive shows. There are several events focused on the waterside that take place each year that need more general exposure.
  
  A scuba show is for scuba divers, but a watersports show is for people who have an interest in the waterside.
  
  On September 27 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia, the DC Dive Show preaches to the choir. While organizers try to reach non-divers and attract them to the show, dive shops watch to see if the event will survive another year.
  
  At the end of October, the DEMA Show takes place in Las Vegas. It's a difficult economy, so attendance will be watched closely as an indication of the state of the dive industry. If dive stores in the U.S. and Canada don't make the trip, then exhibitors from waterside destinations around the world will be talking to each other about the state of the scuba dive industry.
  
  Dive Show Radio will talk with exhibitors at the DEMA Show, as well as speakers, during the weeks leading up to the October 22nd opening, and then, during the show.
  
  Peter Symes, publisher of www.xray-mag.com, will be working with me to develop Xray-dio to report on European Dive Shows.
  
  Richard Stewart, publisher of Ocean Realm Journal, will be working with me to develop an eco-travel Ocean Realm Radio show.
