This week's big news is the new royal baby.   It brought up the question of royalty and the chance of birth.  At the same instant that little Prince George was born into a life of privilege, power and wealth many hundreds, perhaps thousands, of babies were born into lives of disenfranchisement, powerlessness and poverty.  There was no fanfare, no crowds for these unfortunates.  This week Ken and Beth discuss both the good and the bad about the luck of being born royal.  The British royalty in general and especially the Royal Family conjures up a romantic notion of pomp and tradition.  The Royal Family, fallen on hard PR times in recent decades, has with this new royal couple, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, found new life. They are enjoying a resurgence in popularity across the whole of England.  What role does a royal class play in modern society. What responsibilities are incumbent on them to fulfill.  The saying goes: to whom much is given, much is required.  Let's talk about that.  Join us by phone at 347-215-9971 or join the discussion in our online chat room.
