Rivers - From My Belly Pt. 1 Cont'd

Everyone has heard of rivers, but often don’t realize the power in discovering its implication on their lives. We’re told, "first came the natural then the spiritual", therefore our natural understanding of rivers can provide tremendous clarity on what God wants to do in my life. When you really consider them, it's interesting to note how God used rivers in the scriptures and how they figures into our lives today. Consider when God first created Adam male and female, He placed them near (4) rivers. These rivers provided fresh water for the environment entrusted to Adam. When God raised up Moses to deliver the children of Israel, this great deliverer received his name because he was drawn out of the water. The Israelites got their food from the rivers and God often placed them by rivers to control shipping channels and in many ways influence wealth. Rivers represent the blessings of God and in Psalm 1:1-6, we are planted by rivers so that we don’t wither. Practically speaking rivers flow into oceans and when dammed up the oceanic life is impacted by the lack of life flowing from the river. In like manner the rivers within you when dammed up rob you of your creativity and ultimate impact on others. God desires His power to burst through the floodgates of your soul and you must know that the enemy wants to use circumstances, people and critical tapes in your mind to stop your river.
