The gloves are off and Trump is free from the GOP party apparently indifferent to ever winning another presidency. Trump claims the shackles are off. But what kind of leadership does the national party claim to be making? It seems for years the GOP has focused on losing small. Now, intent upon freeing themselves from Trump and baggage, they are prepared to enter freefall and experience staggering and perhaps unimaginable levels of losses.

This would be admirable if the GOP itself actually stood for anything other than Dem Lite. In fact, in trying to appear lillywhite and holier than thou, the Part is merely highlighting its own disgusting fearful and unprincipled core. Had the Party leaders stuck with Trump, thick or thin, they stood a good chance of reaping the rewards of the victors. Instead, by repeatedly claiming they couldn’t support him, and now publicly abandoning Trump, the furious masses will likely stay away from the polls or at least not vote downparty. This is a historic mistake from which the GOP will probably never recover.

But the DEMs always back their man, even if she’s merely masculine HIllary,. The media juggernaut that surrounds Hillary’s campaign, like a child in a womb, has been exposed in a new Wikkileaks exposure. Hillary received aid from the NYTs, allowing her to edite her own quotes. Specific journalists -- like the CNBC’s debate moderator John Harwood even aided her personally, while she was also given debate Q’s ahead of time. In other words, the ailing Hillary was treated as more important than the Baby Jesus.

So what happens now? Odds surely favor Hillary. But Trump, with his uncanny sense of timing, gambler’s streak and the cojone’s of a river gambler could still pull it off. If not? Despite the DEMs fielding their worst candidate ever, the GOP lack of guts and vision means the GOP we once knew will be DOA.
