THE LEGAL TRIALS OF JESUS & EASTER

While Easter is the Christian holiday celebrating the resurrected Messiah (Meshiach), there would be no Easter without a crucifixion; and no crucifixion without a set of trials that setup Jesus for execution. These trials are fascinating for the legal procedures from Jewish and Roman law and cultural mores of a long past time. In addition, the pagan Babylonian origins of Easter symbolism will also be briefly noted. This is the subject of this essay.

  1. Background to Christ's Death

  2. Judicial Nature of Christ's Examination

  3. The Trials of Jesus

  4. Pagan Origins of Easter Symbolism: Nimrod, Babylon & Ashtart

  5. Conclusion
