The Other 1 Percent

Good morning!  Today we're going to talk about taking note of familiar territory.  Sometimes we experience a sort of deja vu and in making progress on the journey we need to identify the similarity to avoid previous pitfalls, as well as recognize the opportunities that we perhaps missed, previously.  Part of being the Other 1 Percent is recognizing the window of opportunity and not closing it on one's self!  The other topic this morning is "One Thing."  If you saw "City Slickers" you might remember Jack Palance explaning that to Billy Crystal, or if you saw "The Book of Eli," Denzel Washington had a simple purpose - to go west.  To become part of the Other 1 Percent is not a goal in and of itself, but rather, it's simply a small fraction of folks that realize their purpose in G-d's plan and use their G-d given talents to accomplish that purpose.  Join me this morning.
