As parents, we tell our children to pay attention in school.  Education is one of the most important things you need in life, is usually the mesage we emphasize. We trust that our children are being taught the academic lessons in life that go beyond our reach as a parent, and we view teachers as trustworthy allies that have our children's best interest for success at heart.

School was usually the next place that provided a sanctuary...there was usually that one favorite teacher a child could confide in when things got tough in class or in life. However, modern-day school life has taken a mighty different turn for our children. Metal detectors, gangs, child-on-child violence and school shootings have plagued the feeling of safety both parents and students once associated with the school environment.  One major reason for this is more teachers are emerging as the safety and innocence violators. Sex scandals involving students and teachers are hitting the news more than ever before, and each story seems to be more bolder and outrageous than the last one. Who do we hold accountable? The teachers? The government? The parents? Join me tonight as we discuss how to successfully put a stop to education by molestation practices in our kids schools.
