The incidents of unarmed African-American males being shot and/or killed by police is simply outrageous. Jonathan Ferrell was killed by police after knocking on the wrong door looking for help because he sustained injuries in a vehicular crash. Jack Lamar Roberson was shot and killed by police after family members called 911 for emergency medical assistance. American citizens has the right to police protection, yet African-American men must be concerned with putting the officers they reached out to for help at ease first before explaining their ordeal. The "It's a Black subject, shoot now, defend our actions later" ideology has to be put down! But has this open, blatant practice of racial profiling eliminated the Afri8can-American male's fundamental right to police protection?
