Passion moves oceans

Washed Ashore Project, Artist Angela Haseltine Pozzi followed her passion and gifts to change the ocean's future.

I came to the ocean to heal, but found an ocean that needed healing. LIke many people I walked past the garbage and wanted to only the ocean's beauty. When I finally stopped and saw the debris on the beach, my heart opened to the problem. I knew the arts had the power to transform people and their interaction in the world. Instead of drowning in dispair, I am using what the ocean is throwing back to us to create artistic response. Washedashore.org became the communication vehicle.
