Tonight's Radio Show - "The Carnival"
We'll talk about the Season ONE Episode TWO and how far to shelter your children from the World.

Emmy Award winning show ... The Waltons is an American television series created by Earl Hamner, Jr., based on his book Spencer's Mountain, and a 1963. The show centered on the titular family growing up in a rural Virginia community during the Great Depression and World War II.  The show aired from 1972 - 1981.

The Walton family, consisting of John and Olivia, their seven children, and John's parents Zebulon "Zeb" and Esther Walton, struggle to make a decent life during the Depression. The family's story is seen primarily through the eyes of John-Boy, the oldest son and an aspiring journalist and novelist, who serves as narrator. John Walton and his father operate a lumber mill, with the Walton sons helping out in the business as they grow older. Occasional strangers needing temporary shelter for various reasons periodically stay with the hospitable Walton family.

Each week we will talk about the episodes - and how we can compare life today ... the tough economic times - times where people have lost the "family" - and most important how life should return as they were in the "Good Ole Days"

This is our tribute ... and a lesson to be learned!
