Robert Nix’s music career began at an early age, performing in Roy Orbison’s backing band The Candymen. He would later co-found the southern rock band The Atlanta Rhythm Section, he co-wrote many of the band’s hits, including “So Into You” and “Champagne Jam,” .

Throughout the years as a drummer, writer, and producer Robert met and fell in love with Alison Heafner who later became his wife.
Together they would travel, sing and write together  but most of all, have a love so close that not many of us would ever feel as loved as Alison and Robert felt for each other.

We lost Robert Nix on May 20, 2012 ...
He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Alison Heafner Nix.

Today is the wedding annivesary of Robert and Alison Haefner Nix.
