Simple Pain Relief for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome with The Pain Relief Coach

Today's episode of Carpal Tunnel Radio covered a lot of ground.  The carpal tunnel is a bony area in the wrist with space for blood vessels and nerves to pass through.  When the space becomes smaller due to swelling in your tissues (or sometimes an injury like a fall) there is less space for the nerves and blood vessels.  This causes symptoms in your hand and the area around your carpal tunnel because nerves don't like to be squashed or compressed.

We also talked about the other symptoms you might experience along with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.  Because everything in your body is attached and all the parts work together you most likely also have headaches, backaches, pain in your neck or shoulders, migraines, jaw pain or TMJD, or other complaints.

What causes carpal tunnel pain and these other complaints?  Poor, collapsing posture is one really good bet.

The best way to "shore up" your posture is to loosen, or stretch, the muscles in the front of your body.  You started to collapse forward and get "forward head" posture because the muscles in the front of your body started becoming short.

The second part of the correction is to strengthen your whole back side from your knees to the base of your skull.  You can find simple easy ways to do that with the helpful articles at:

    http://www.SimpleStrengthening.com

You have a smart body that wants to be well.  Your body follows natural "laws."  You must understand these laws and help your body get back to the same wonderful neutral posture you had as a little child.  You are worth the time and effort it will take to get rid of your carpal tunnel pain.

I'm Kathryn Merrow, The Pain Relief Coach, and I look forward to helping you get carpal tunnel pain relief naturally.

Carpal Tunnel - Good Posture and Tips for Carpal Tunnel Pain Relief

Carpal tunnel pain and symptoms always come from somewhere or something.  They don't happen without a reason.  All symptoms have a cause.  Poor posture is a chief cause of many pain symptoms including those in your hand, arm and wrist.

Today at http://www.CarpalTunnelRadio.com the conversation was about posture:  How do you know whether your posture is poor or good?  What can you do to correct poor posture?  How did you start to collapse?  Why does collapsed posture cause pain?  Why do your feet matter?

You used to have perfect posture and you can again!

Your body is very smart and wants to be well.  It just needs a little help from you.  By educating yourself, you can discover what you need to do to get your straight, strong body back.

When you have a strong back, the short muscles in the front of your body won't always be able to win the tug-of-war and pull you forward.  When your posture is more upright, you will have less pain in your hand, wrists and arms (and all over, too.)

A straight, strong body will give you carpal tunnel pain relief.

Carpal Tunnel Surgery and Stress Relieve Techniques with Kathryn Merrow

There are many things to consider before you have surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome.  Today on Carpal Tunnel Radio, we talked about the questions you might ask your surgeon before you make your decision.  Why?  Because an informed patient can make the best decision.

Some of today's content came from TendonitisExpert.com.  He says the same things that I do:  You have a smart body capable of healing naturally.

There are many natural ways to help relieve Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.  A syndrome is a collection of symptoms.  Symptoms have causes.  If you can figure out and get rid of the causes, your symptoms will go away.

We also talked about stress.  Stress causes pain and pain causes stress.  There are many ways to lower your stress level.  Using humor, "inside jokes" (inside your own brain) and reframing the situation.  We can't change anyone else but we can change our response to situations.

Carpal Tunnel Surgery and Natural Cures with Kathryn Merrow, The Pain Relief Coach

Today's topics at Carpal Tunnel Radio included surgery for carpal tunnel release.  We talked about how to know whether you should consider surgery, the causes of CTS, questions to ask your surgeon and natural help for CTS.

I also suggested another good place to get a lot of information about CTS all in one place:  http:www.squidoo.com/GTSOCTS  Bruce L. Bair is a Physician's Assistant who put this site together for his patients, but he said you all can use it, too.  Bruce has conventional medical information as well as alternative (natural) info.

Is it more beneficial to treat a symptom?  (Much of conventional medicine treats symptoms.)  Or is it better to get rid of the CAUSE of the symptom?  We talked about why some carpal tunnel surgeries are "unsuccessful."  (Because they didn't address the CAUSE.)

We talked about what happens within about 2 years for about 1/2 of the successful surgeries.  The patients begin to have symptoms again.  Why?  Because the CAUSE wasn't addressed.

The best patient--the one most likely to get well--is the one who is most educated about their pain.  What are the causes?  What are the treatment options?

Remember, the doctor or massage therapist is your service provider.  You pay him or her for their services, so you get to ask questions and have input.

I love doctors and surgeons.  I believe they are terrifically talented.  But, sometimes surgery is not the answer.  Sometimes there are natural options which will help you avoid the pain of surgery and recuperation and possible side-effects.

Our sponsor today was http://www.PainReliefErgonomics.com  so you can work in comfort at your desk or keyboard.

There are reasons why you have CTS.  You can experience carpal tunnel pain relief by getting rid of the CAUSES.
