Carpal Tunnel Radio with Kathryn Merrow

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome happens for a reason, just like everything else does.

Today on Carpal Tunnel Radio, we covered the benefits of stretching for carpal tunnel pain relief.  Every part of your body is attached to every other part.  Your hand and wrist is directly attached to your back and leg.  Your body is one unit, and when any one part gets unhappy, it causes pain or symptoms somewhere else.

Typically, the muscles in the fronts of our bodies get short.  This happens due to work, habits and life.  It also happens when our back muscles become weak.  Stretching the front of your body, like a dog or cat or baby does, will help you get your muscles back to the length they used to be.

Strengthening your back muscles will also help with muscular balance.  When your muscles are happily balanced, your carpal tunnel symptoms will be less.  In fact, your whole body will feel better!  Discover how to get a strong back simply and easily at http://www.SimpleStrengthening.com

We also talked about triggers for CTS and taking care of the only body you will ever have in this lifetime.  Doctors haven't perfected whole body replacements yet.

We talked about some easy ways to improve your posture:  Lift the crown of your head, lift your breastbone, and suck your abdomen back to your spine.

Our sponsor today is http://www.PainReliefErgonomics.com  They help you work in comfort at your desk or workstation.  I hope you get a chance to visit them.

Next week on Thursday July 2, 2009 at noon EST we will talk about natural treatment for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.  Remember, you can always find more information about the causes and natural treatments for CTS at http://www.CarpalTunnelPainRelief.com

Get Rid of Your Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Naturally

Can you get carpal tunnel pain relief naturally?  You surely can!

Among lots of other things, today's episode at Carpal Tunnel Radio talked about FD&C Yellow #5.  Why?  Because that artificial color that is added to 85% of processed foods interferes with the absorption of Vitamin B6.  Why does that matter?

Vitamin B6 is a known cause of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.  Your doctor knows about it.  And CTS has increased a huge amount since Yellow #5 and other artificial colors were introduced.

We also talked about why children will get carpal tunnel syndrome even earlier than we adults did.  Some of the reasons are poor, weak backs from too little activity and exercise and too much sitting doing computer related or television or desk stuff.

Everything happens for a reason and carpal tunnel syndrome is no exception.  When you discover the causes of your CTS you can fix them, change them or get rid of them.  And, then, your carpal tunnel symptoms will go away.

It really is that simple.  You have an amazingly smart body.  It wants to be well.  It needs some help from you.  By educating yourself about the true causes of your pain, numbness & tingling, you can get carpal tunnel pain relief.

Carpal Tunnel Pain Relief with Massage-How to Interview a Massage Therapist for CTS & Self-Massage

Today we talked about the benefits of massage for carpal tunnel syndrome.  We talked about types of do-it-yourself massage and how to interview a professional massage therapist.

Not all massage therapists work with CTS.  Some have the training and experience to make a HUGE difference in your carpal tunnel symptoms (or other pain.)  Some only can do a nice relaxation massage, which also has benefits, but will not relieve your carpal tunnel pain.

Our sponsor this week is http://www.PainReliefErgonomics.com  They help you work in comfort at your desk or keyboard.  I hope you will take a few minutes to visit them.

I'm highly biased about the benefits of therapeutic massage for CTS and other pain symptoms and syndromes--because it works so well--and I believe in my heart it is one of the very most helpful ways to get carpal tunnel pain relief.

Massage for Carpal Tunnel Pain Relief

    Carpal Tunnel Radio--June 4, 2009

Today's episode was about the benefits of massage for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and other hand, wrist and arm pain.  We talked about how massage should feel, your role when you see a massage therapist, and how massage helps.

We also got into some self-massage techniques for treating your own lower arm.  Next week, we will continue the discussion about massage for carpal tunnel symptoms.

Many times carpal tunnel-type symptoms are related to not having a comfortable work station because that strains your muscles.  Strained muscles get unhappy and cause pain and other symptoms.  Today's sponsor can help you work in comfort at your desk or keyboard with simple little lessons.  Claim your sample lesson at http://www.PainReliefErgonomics.com
