Week 3 Assignments:


This week is a fun week in that we are thinking and dreaming about our favorite things to eat, favorite meals and so on.


  1. this week save 10% but try for 15% of grocery budget...put it in a jar and hide that jar from site. Are you struggling with this? Why? Or Why Not? Write it down and put this in your notebook!

  2. Ask your family what are their favorite breakfast, lunch, and supper meals and write this in a list form and put it in your notebook.

  3. Then ask them what are their favorite soups and list these on a separate form and put in your notebook. (if you are working with other families, you may wish to exchange some recipes or ask your extended family and friends about favorite recipes)

  4. list favorite snacks on a form and put this in your notebook

  5. find recipes for all of these items as possible and put them in a folder in your notebook

  6. Determine with your family, a menu plan for the next week (can you follow this plan? Why or why not?)

  7. get used to your restructured kitchen
