Chandi Devi and J. Ram Sivananda, authors of "From Om to Orgasm: The Tantra Primer for Living in Bliss" will talk about tantra. J. Ram holds a BS in psychology, an MS in computer science information systems and the equivalent of an BS in electrical engineering. He has an extensive background in marital arts and ancient philosophies and has managed to weave the tantric traditions of Taoism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Shamanism while developing and inventing advanced computer technology systems. Working as a scientist and engineer for most of his life, he sees physics and metaphysics as a common thread to the unfolding of the mysteries of life. Tantra is a system of unfolding the threads that hold the mysteries of life. Physics can be compared to the right hand path-- logical, concrete and finite, while metaphysics is like the left hand path--intuitive, experiential, infinite. The manifestation of living in bliss, he teaches, is the yoking of the West's hard science with the soft philosophy of the East.
