This is an encore episode - August is "Best of Shine Your Light Radio" Month.

My guest is Sharon Babineau and we are talking about "Why and how we leave a legacy" - that we are never too old or too young to make a difference in the world. Sharon Babineau is a decorated soldier, founder of a not for profit – Maddie's Everlasting Wish, author, widow, mountain climber, hockey player, and inspirational keynote speaker. Having facilitated seminars, support groups and workshops for over a decade, she is a trained facilitator in Transformative Mindfulness and the 16 Guidelines to a Happy Life, and shares personal life experiences to explain her inner strength. She believes anything is possible. Sharon's story/message has appeared on television, radio and print. It was through her daughter, Maddie, who was diagnosed at the age of 12 and passed away at the tender age of 15 from Ewing's Sarcoma, and her incredible journey that Sharon learned that one person can change the world and leave a legacy no matter what age. Sharon will share her story and insight with us today.
