    Continuing with our Compassionate Capitalism, 30 companies successfully completed LAUNCHfn's Art of Raising Capital workshop. They gained insight into what investors look for, how to get meetings with investors, and what to do to move them to a buying decision. The graduates had an opportunity to apply their new knowledge as they delivered their elevator pitch to attendees of the Capital Community Celebration. Some of those graduates will share their experience with the workshop and the networking event that followed. Bernard Coleman of Womble Carlyle, a highly regarded law firm, will share the legal side of successfully raising capital and how to avoid legal and civil liabilities from failing to do so maintain your exemption to SEC registration as private offering.
