Pray for the Jackson family that God would give them Peace and Privacy. 

Television and Movie Star Farrah Fawcett lost her battle to cancer after 2 1.2 years this morning in a Santa Monica hospital.  It is reported that Ryan O'Neal and good friend Alana Stewart were with her at her time of death.

Farrah came on the scene in the 70's as a icon for her beautiful smile and gorgeous locks.  Farrah is most known for her role as one of the Angels on the television show, "Charlies' Angels".  She later went on to do such movies as "Somebody Killed Her Husband" and "The Burning Bed" of which she received Rave reviews.  Although Farrah has done both television and big screen work, she will forever be known as the babe in the sexy bathing suite of which millions of posters were sold.

Our prayers and hearts go out to Farrah's family and we pray for peace, comfort and strength during their time of grief.

I had the pleasure of meeting Pastor Shirandi Shamamba almost two years ago now at Global Destiny in Duluth, Georgia.  Pastor Shirandi served as the International Staff Pastor and Dean of Destiny Institute at Global Destiny Worldwide under the leadership of Bishop Thomas Weeks, III.  He also conducted leadership workshops and consulting services to churches in the areas of Leadership and Board development. As a young Pastor, Shirandi has accomplished much in his life thus far and is still moving ahead full force in the Ministry that God is leading him to.

Last Summer Pastor Shirandi added Author to his long list of achievements.  The book is entitled "Living In the Palace; 7 Irrefutable truths of becoming a healthy person".  I was excited to attend one of his book signings last year and was even more anxious to get this work in my library.

I was very pleased with how Pastor Shirandi broke down those 7 Irrefutable truths of becoming a healthy person: 1. First he discussed the Loss of Identity, which goes into detail about the Law of Limitation and the Law of Expansion 2. The second truth goes into the Road to Self-Discovery which will all need to do in order to develop, make progress and become Whole. 3. The third truth is all about the Power of the Covenant.  Sometimes I think we forget who we really are in Christ.  So Pastor goes into the Law of Remembrance and the Law of Favor. 4. The fourth truth is all about Principals of Restoration. Pastor describes what Restoration is and the Law of Restoration. 5. The fifth truth is all about Hidden Treasures. Yes, this will be a wonderful reminder of God's promises to His children. 6. The sixth truth goes into Understanding Protocol. As the body of Christ we have to understand Gods standard of excellence and order. Pastor Shirandi does a fantastic job discussing, The need to be called, Reverence and Adoration, Posture of Humility and Confidence vs. Healthy Self -Esteem.  Pastor rounds out this book with the seventh truth, called "Voices of Wisdom"; now that speaks for itself!

Discussion on how to live Single and still keep your witness for Christ.

As I am sure you've heard..."today is the first day of the rest of your life".  When you think of your life, you have to think of the limited days that you have here on this earth.  I know a lot of people would rather not think of their mortality, but it's just that kind of thinking that has you stuck in the same position you were in 5 years ago.

God created us for Him and for His purpose, but He doesn't want you to live in the temple, He wants you to BE the temple.  Therefore, you have to come outside those 4 walls and become a LIVING, WALKING, BREATHING testimony to those who may never enter the 4 walls of a church.

So, your assignment for today; #1. Give Praise, #2. Get UP, #3. Get DRESSED, #4. Get OUT and hit the streets and look for someone to serve, someone to love and someone encourage today.  Today is the first day of the rest of your life, so GO GET IT!~
