Join our special guest Haritina Mogosanu, Mission Commander, as she discusses Kiwi Space and the Kiwi Mars mission. We are the 118th crew to go to the Mars Desert Research Station, in the last 10 years since the station was activated and the first from New Zealand.  We will interview her, to find out how this effort inspires others to discover the urgency of space related activity. She says to be effective, education needs inspiration. Haritina is also the Education Coordinator for KiwiSpace.  She adds our expedition to the MDRS is an open invitation to everyone to join us in a scientific adventure to one of the closest places on Earth to Mars. KiwiMars's main goal is to use space as the 'hook' to produce educational resources for the New Zealand curriculum. http://www.kiwispace.org.nz/display/PORTAL/Kiwis+go+to+Mars+%288-Mar-2012%29  This show demonstrates how becoming SPACE SMART, is an international effort.
