I will be labeled as a traitor by the so-called progressives, but when has the one issue reason for voting for a person not been in vogue?  So far Newt Gingrich gets my vote, a Republican for President for the first time in my life if for nothing else than his support of mining on the moon.  Our show advances the viewpoint that outer space is the only hope for the expansion of capital markets.   We support the viewpoint that state capitalism and sovereign wealth nations, operating abroad has altered what might have been “free trade,” and that the expansion of capitalism as we know it has hit the wall.  We call for a strong Federalism to check both the excesses of the runaway so-called multinational that ran home crying needing a bailout circulating the view taken up by politicos that they were “too big to fail.”  I’m supporting a Republic for President in the next election because I see him, as he wants to be seen, an idea person, who can muster the political support to get things done.  His statements about mining on the moon and it's ability to inspire our youth reminded me of his visions of the changes coming from the “information superhighway.”  I continue to be excited by visionary though of an intellectual nature with practical applications, something I find lacking in the incumbent.   We need to address the runaway budgets of this country but with the same earnestness, pursue an expanded economy, something many see as possible with a vigorous space program in the United States. We still have something the Chinese government appears to have forsaken and even crushed: the ability to be imaginative, think as entrepreneurs and mobilize our entire culture willingly as was done both during World War II and during the Cold War.
