Black female law enforcement officers find they are confronted with a litany of obstacles and problems.  Research studies have shown that Black females officers suffer from race and gender discrimination.  In general Black women officers say white women officers are not sent into high-crime areas, and they (Black female officers) are subjected to racial and gender insults.
