Mitrice Richardson age 24 was arrested on September 16, 2009, when she was unable to pay for her restaurant bill. According to published reports, Sheriff Deputies claim she exhibited bizarre behavior, and was incoherent. The young woman’s auto was impounded and she was taken to a remote Malibu Sheriff’s Station. Some hours later, around midnight, Sheriff’s Deputies allegedly released her without her cell phone or purse. Her family reported her missing when she did not contact them. After extensive searches without success, Mitrice Richardson’s skeletal remains were found last August in a remote area of the Malibu Canyon area just south of the station. Were Malibu Law Enforcement Officers culpable in the disappearance and death of Mitrice Richardson? Our invited guest will be Mitrice’s father Michael Richardson. Join us for an insightful discussion of a tragedy that apparently could have been prevented.
